As of June 15, 2009 Harrison EMS is now paperless with patient care reports. After months of data entry and working closely with Port Chester EMS, we have gone live. What does this mean to our patients ? It means that your information will be encrypted onto our servers and our billing process will be streamlined. The paper way is to hold onto a patients records for 7 years or if a child is under the age of 18, until they reach 18. Now our patient records are stored without taking up space in the building in a secure area to electronically secured and backed up at a seperate location, in another State. Your information is 100% safe. We can keep better stats on transports, calls, types of calls and proper usage of personnel during busy times of the day. It is just another way Harrison brings the best to our patients.
