Services:
Billing Department

Due to the rising expense of medical equipment, operations costs, salaries and day to day expenses, our donations and monies provided from the Town of Harrison are not sufficient to carry our operation. So to assist us in covering the costs we do bill for service. Service is defined as a transport to the hospital with an Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic providing care, or if we are called to a scene and administer medication to a patient and the patient refuses against medical advice to be transported to the hospital.

We have a third party billing service Pro Claim, which takes care of all of our ambulance billing. Pro Claim takes all of our billable ambulance runs, enters the data into the computer system and submits for payment to the insurance companies. Billing charges are based on the New York State average for ambulance transports. However, Medicare and Medicaid patients are charged according to set rates governed by Medicare and Medicaid.

Whether or not you reside in the Town/Village of Harrison, your insurance will still be billed for service. We will make every effort to collect any balance remaining after funds are collected from your insurance carrier. If payment is not made, you will be placed into collections.

Patients with no insurance will be responsible to pay the entire balance of the bill for service.

If you are having a problem with payment, or have any questions regarding your bill or fees for service, or if you need to be placed on a payment schedule, contact Pro Claim at (914) 366-4004 or custserv@proclaimservices.com
