Last year, Harrison Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to over 2,400 calls and provided ambulance service for over 60 special events within the community. Your support has enabled us to keep up with the increase in calls and events in our community.
Monies received from the Town of Harrison and through third-party billing is used to support the Harrison VAC operations budget. However, to keep up with the necessary supplies, medications, and equipment, your continued support is needed.
With your generosity last year, we were able to order a new ambulance to replace one of our older ambulances and purchase new state-of-the-art equipment that is essential to keep up with changing requirements and provide you with the highest level of care in the country.
In addition to placing another new ambulance into service, this past year we also expanded our staffing needs to the community by placing another ambulance in service on the evening shift, Monday through Friday from 8pm until midnight. This change has improved our ability to respond to calls swiftly, which improves our service to you and helps eliminate the need to call in another ambulance service when the first ambulance is already on a call.
We thank you for your continued support and encourage you to make a donation online today.
