Passing of Charlie "Chucky" Melillo 758 OCTOBER 25 - It is with utter disbelief and sadness to announce the passing of one of our own. After suffering a severe concussion and a fractured neck playing semi-pro football, Charlie was found unresponsive in bed Sunday morning. West Harrison Moose Lodge Donates Trauma Dolls MARCH 07 - West Harrison Moose Lodge 294 donated 48 stuffed animals Wednesday to the Harrison Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to be distributed to children in traumatic situations. Known as the "Tommy Moose Program," Moose Lodge 294 purchased the stuffed animals (all moose) from Moose International Headquarters in Mooseheart, Ill. Car vs. Pole DECEMBER 12 - On Sunday morning approx. 0430 HEMS was called to Purchase Street for the car vs. pole with entrapment with a "live" wire down on the car.
